EC FORMALDEHYDE was founded in 2026 because we discovered that most Singapore homeowners are unaware of formaldehyde and VOC risks in newly renovated homes — a silent health concern affecting thousands of families.
We saw families moving into beautiful new BTO flats and renovated homes without realizing the air they were breathing could contain harmful levels of formaldehyde from furniture, carpentry, and finishes. We decided to change that by creating Singapore's most transparent, educational formaldehyde testing and treatment service.
